Are You Kidding? Blown Them Up NOW!

What a disgusting example of what is coming for the people of Swat! I read about it in the newspaper this morning and then saw the video on Geo and Dunya TV. It is disgusting that this should be tolerated.
Yesterday, in a busy bazaar in Kabal, Swat, became a disgusting courtroom for the dispensation of justice. A 17 year old girl came out of a building with a boy that was not a relative of hers to be confronted by a group of Taliban enforcers, there to dispense justice. She was held down by three men while given 34 lashes by other. In the video, you can clearly her the girl SCREAMING for mercy and for them to stop beating her. This all while a crowd of many watched the show.
If this part of the agreement that was made with the TNSM Chief Sufi Muhammad, then the ANP and PPP governments should resign and present themselves in The Hague for crimes against humanity. If this is not part of the agreement, then let loose the full fury of the Pakistan Military on these people.
Anger can not even come close to defining how I feel about this crap. Who the hell do you think you are to dole out justice because of what you think? Is that not what the Qazi courts were setup for?
When this agreement was signed, no one believed that this was good for the people of Swat. It was a surrender to the extremists. But today, it must be stopped with the full force of the Pakistan Army, Air Force and para-military forces.
Let the military of Pakistan give them the justice that they deserve! And it’s spectators are no longer collateral damage in this war.
UPDATES:
After watching the domestic news channels yesterday, I am more shocked at the versions of stories coming forward.
The ANP government of the NWFP claims that this happened prior to the Swat Peace Deal and the Nazim-e-Adl. The position of the Zahid Hussain, Information Minister for the party, is “this happened during the time when people were being killed openly in Swat, people were being pulled out of graves and hung for treason and other crimes.”
The Taliban spokesman, Haji Muslim Khan, first claimed that this incident happened over 9 – 10 months prior and was being shown to the world to disturb the implementation of the Nazim-e-Adl and defame Islam.
The People’s Party Government has demanded an immediate investigation into the incident, while the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Chaudhry has ordered that the girl be produced in the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday.
The religious parties are busy claiming that this is nothing more than a conspiracy against Islam that is being propagated by the United States to justify entering Pakistan.
Today, a report has emerged that this incident happened 20 days ago and the girl is only 16.
I found it shocking that numerous people who claim to be religious scholars screaming about how their is no media coverage for the drone attacks, people that were forced out of their homes due to the fighting in the NWFP.
Either way you look at it, no matter which side of the issue you stand on, this will be the battle for Pakistan. No one, not one person, is ready to accept this type of behavior anywhere in Pakistan.
My only fear is that like Lal Masjid, the media and social society were the driving force in bringing their actions to the notice of the people and chastising the government for not taking action. The day that the military operation started, the media and civil society could not support the government because of the “innocent lives” lost.
Will this be the same?
